Green Bean and Dill Brown Rice

  • 1 small onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 lb steamed green beans
  • 2 cups cooked brown rice
  • 1 tsp dried drill or 1/8 cup of fresh drill
  • salt to taste
  • ground pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
  • 1 lime (optional)


  • In a large saucepan, cook onions and garlic in olive oil until onions are golden. Then, add steamed green beans, brown rice, and dill and mix all items. Let simmer on low heat for about five to six minutes while stirring every minute or two. Pour rice on a plate to serve and squeeze some lime juice on top for some extra flavor.
