In general, no condition renders Dr. McCombs’ Candida Plan unsafe and most individuals find that it quickly begins to restore their vitality.

However, I have had a few patients who came to me after they had undergone radiation treatments and chemotherapy for cancer. These individuals were so depleted and underweight that they needed to gain some weight before they went on the plan, but most people in this kind of situation do very well on the diet and regain their strength more quickly than they (and often their physicians) thought possible.

If you’re someone who has had a hard time sweating in the past, I would suggest that you spend one to two weeks doing the sweating regimen before beginning the diet and supplements. This will help to open up the channels of elimination in the body and make for an easier transition into detoxifying the body.

Additionally, you may want to do a colon cleanse first to detoxify the body of some accumulated wastes. While I don’t think a colon cleanse is necessary as a prerequisite to doing the plan, some people have found it to be helpful.

As always, if you have any questions, consult with your doctor or a holistic practitioner prior to doing Dr. McCombs’ Candida Plan and at any other time during the plan if you feel a need to do so.
